Le voile

It's not easy to find an original way to shoot at statues and monuments, but I think this shot is a good example of a well-chosen point of view.

The shot is full of mistery: you don't know if the woman is unveling herself or if she's hiding, what she's going to do. And the smile on her face becomes a little eerie..
In my opinion, the black/white underlines this feeling -and I appreciate the contrast with the black background.

From a technical point of view, I think the composition is well balanced: the attention is conveyed to the upper part of the veil, hit by more light, then goes to the hidden face. The black and white is nicely done, too.
